We thank the University Hospital for its cooperation

When at the beginning of the year the K. Marcinkowski University Hospital in Zielona Gora put out an appeal on its social media asking for help in storing medical equipment, the management of the LCL companies responded instantly.

The equipment in question was to become equipment for the newly built Mother and Child Health Center, but the opening of the facility had to be suspended due to the need to dedicate the building to the needs of patients infected with coronavirus. The future Maternal and Child Health Center became a Temporary Hospital and the medical equipment dedicated to the Center, could not be placed at its destination. The hospital itself does not have sufficiently large storage space, so the request for help was for support in storing the equipment.

Cooperation with the University Hospital in Zielona Gora

An agreement was signed between the hospital’s president, Marek Dzialoszynski, and LCL companies’ CEO, Mateusz Oleksiejuk, concerning free, indefinite access to storage space LCL Logistic for storage of the facility’s medical equipment. The equipment was transported by LCL Spedition fleet vehicles.

Our several-month collaboration with the University Hospital has just ended. The echoes of the coronavirus pandemic are quieting, the building intended for the Maternal and Child Health Center can already be used for the purpose for which it was created. Dedicated equipment can take its place in the Center. The last shipment of medical equipment has already arrived at the hospital building. It was again transported by vehicles of the fleet of LCL Spedition.

For our part, we thank the hospital’s management for their cooperation and are pleased that we were able to support the facility by making our companies’ resources available.
